DASHBOARD
Dashboard for monitoring the chaperones and children's day-to-day in the project, by the municipality.
THE PROBLEM
The municipality lacks a means to actively monitor and authenticate ongoing events, as well as gather data for future reference.
Establishing a technological perspective for the municipality's involvement in the project, this initiative allows for real-time monitoring of activities and reports submitted by chaperones through the application.
This comprehensive approach provides the municipality with a dynamic and transparent view, enabling effective oversight and management of the project's day-to-day operations.
KEY GOAL
Helping the municipality's side for reassuring current and future checking and data collecting of the project.
THE PROCESS
Finding a way to display the collected data in a modern, easily comprehensible, and user-friendly manner, reflecting both what's happening in the application and in practice.
In designing a user-friendly dashboard, paramount importance is placed on seamlessly presenting the amalgamation of collected data and real-world activities from both the application and practical scenarios.
The UX is optimized by ensuring a modern and easily comprehensible display, facilitating users in grasping the information effortlessly.
Key UI considerations involve a contemporary design that harmonizes with user expectations, using intuitive graphics and clear navigation.
This synthesis reflects a commitment to user-friendliness, enabling a seamless understanding of both application processes and real-world events within a cohesive and accessible interface.
UNDERSTANDING THE USER
Prioritizing time efficiency and reduced effort for municipal employees overseeing the project.
In our research focused on municipal employees, as we couldn't conduct personal user studies,
we identified two pivotal needs: time efficiency and reduced effort. Addressing these concerns is crucial, as without a solution, there's a risk that employees overseeing the project may be unaware of crucial developments, posing safety and financial risks.
Prioritizing time efficiency and reduced effort for municipal employees overseeing the project is crucial, as neglecting these needs poses risks to safety, finances, and overall project efficacy, underscoring the urgency of implementing an accessible solution.
Additionally, the lack of accessibility in the solution could lead to misunderstandings, affecting both supervisors and the municipality's actions in the project, potentially impacting critical aspects such as shuttle operations, arrival times, and station management.
Using the UX/UI principles from the app design as well
Establishing a consistent design language across both the application and dashboard, prioritizing clarity and simplicity in presenting data.
THE SOLUTION
An accessible, modern, and innovative dashboard design for diverse municipal employees overseeing the project, ensuring ease of understanding and swift operation while integrating the project's database.
Crafted with accessibility and innovation in mind, the modern dashboard caters to a broad spectrum of municipal employees overseeing the project, ensuring ease of understanding and swift operation for all users.
Key features include an interactive map for monitoring and updates,
a comprehensive list of active lines and stations,
real-time information on children assigned to each shuttle line for every new trip, and more.
Furthermore, the dashboard facilitates data collection, fostering optimal project operation, continuous learning, and future testing initiatives.
